Ingredients:
- 600 grams of beef, cut into strips
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 packet of tomato sauce
- 4 cloves of crushed garlic
- 1 box of cream
- 1 kg of boiled and mashed potatoes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Green seasoning to taste
- Shoestring potatoes to taste
- Two tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 180 grams of mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- First, add the olive oil to a large pan and heat it, then brown the onion and garlic.
- Add the beef and mix it a bit, let it sear well on one side, then flip the beef and sear on the other side.
- Once done, season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to taste. You can add other seasonings, as this is optional.
- Then add the tomato sauce and mix, reduce the heat, and let it cook for 1 minute, then turn it off.
- Next, place the cooked and mashed potatoes in an ovenproof dish and season with salt and black pepper, mix well, and add the cream.
- Then, stir until the cream is well incorporated into the potatoes, then place the beef and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Finally, finish with green seasoning to taste and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25 minutes. Decorate as desired with shoestring potatoes, then serve.
