- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 (14-ounce) bag caramels
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Cake Batter:
- Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package.
- Layer the Batter:
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 13×9-inch baking pan.
- Bake the First Layer:
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
- Cool the First Layer:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Prepare the Caramel Layer:
- In a double boiler, add caramels, melted butter, and evaporated milk.
