Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes (Russet recommended)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 4 to 6 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
FIRST STEP:
- Wash and dry the potatoes.
- Slice each potato vertically, but not more than halfway down side to side. You can also make slices at angles for a crispier texture.
SECOND STEP:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and paprika together to create the seasoning.
THIRD STEP:
- Spritz the potatoes with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the potatoes.
FOURTH STEP:
- Set the seasoned potatoes on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown.
