Notes:
- Biscuits & Gravy Casserole is a hearty and comforting dish that’s perfect for breakfast or brunch.
- Using pre-made sausage gravy mix and canned biscuits makes this recipe quick and easy to prepare, ideal for busy mornings or lazy weekends.
- Feel free to customize the casserole by using different types of sausage or adding extra ingredients like diced bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms for added flavor and texture.
- Make sure to whisk the gravy mix thoroughly with water to ensure a smooth and creamy texture in the final dish.
- The addition of shredded cheddar cheese adds a deliciously cheesy flavor to the gravy and helps bind the casserole together.
- Be sure to evenly spread the sausage gravy mixture in the baking dish before pouring the egg mixture over the top to ensure every bite is filled with flavor.
- Check the casserole towards the end of the baking time to prevent the biscuits from over-browning. If they start to get too dark, loosely cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving to allow it to set slightly and make it easier to slice and serve. Enjoy this comforting and satisfying dish with your family and friends!
