- 12 raw shrimp (adjust to your preference)
 - 1 serving of linguine pasta
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 2 tablespoons butter
 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
 - Shredded Parmesan cheese
 - 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - Flour (for thickening)
 - Cajun seasoning (to taste)
 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
 - White wine (optional)
 - Olive oil (for cooking)
 
Instructions:
- Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat.
 - Add 2 tablespoons of butter, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of white wine (if using), then bring to a boil.
 - Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes, until fragrant.
 - Add the shrimp to the pan. Season the shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning according to your preference.
 - When the shrimp turn pink on one side, flip them over and cook for another minute, then remove them from the pan, leaving the liquid behind.
 - To the liquid in the pan, add 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1/8 teaspoon of dried basil, chopped fresh parsley, and salt and pepper to taste.
 - Bring the mixture to a boil and gradually whisk in sprinkles of flour until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
 - Lower the heat to medium-low and return the cooked shrimp to the pan.
 - Toss the shrimp to coat them with the creamy Cajun sauce.
 - Serve the creamy Cajun shrimp over cooked linguine pasta.
