  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes

  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. plus 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups full-fat milk
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 5 tsp. flour

Directions:

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the lasagna noodles, and cook until tender, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken cubes until fully cooked. Add the broccoli, onion, and garlic, cooking until the onions are translucent. Set this mixture aside.
  3. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and whisk in the flour. Cook for a minute, then gradually add the chicken broth and milk, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Repeat the layers, ending with a final layer of noodles. Top with any remaining sauce and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
