Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless beef round steak
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can of stewed tomatoes, un-drained
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 each chopped green, yellow, and orange pepper
Instructions:
- Trim any fat from the steak and cut it into four pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, brown the meat on both sides in hot oil.
- Transfer the browned meat to the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the tomato mixture over the meat in the crock pot.
- Top with the chopped peppers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
