Ingredients:

  • 380 grams all-purpose flour
  • 260 grams whole milk
  • 70 grams rapeseed oil
  • 60 grams regular white sugar
  • 5 grams kosher salt
  • 1 medium bag vanilla sugar
  • 1 envelope baker’s yeast

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Yeast Mixture:
    • Heat the whole milk in the microwave for 25 seconds, being careful not to overheat it.
    • In a lukewarm bowl, dissolve the baker’s yeast in the milk and set it aside for approximately 10 minutes.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In a medium mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, white sugar, kosher salt, and the vanilla sugar bag.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    • Add rapeseed oil to the dry ingredients and mix well.
    • Gradually pour in the heated milk and yeast combo, stirring until combined.
  4. Knead and Rise:
    • Knead the dough until it is soft and homogeneous.
    • Cover the dough in a salad bowl with a tea towel and let it rise in a warm place until its size multiplies.
  5. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Prepare Baking Sheet:
    • On a lightly floured work surface, butter the mold and place a baking sheet on top.
  7. Shape and Rest Dough:
    • Degass the dough with the palm of your fingers, divide it, and shape it into normal dough balls.
    • Place the dough balls in the mold, separating them slightly.
    • Let them rest for around 20 minutes.
  8. Brush with Milk and Bake:
    • Before baking, brush the rolls with milk.
    • Bake them for 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
