Mom’s Cheeseburger Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • A dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (3/4 cheddar, 1/4 mozzarella)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick mix
  • 2 eggs

Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Spray a 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Cook ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in seasoned salt, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread the mixture in the pie plate.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the beef.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and Bisquick. Ensure there are as few lumps as possible. Pour the mixture over the meat.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
