  • 70 grams of rapeseed oil.
  • 60 grams of regular white sugar.
  • 5 grams of kosher salt.
  • 1 medium bag of vanilla sugar.
  • 1 envelope of baker’s yeast.

Directions:

Step 1: Heat Milk

  • Heat the milk in the microwave for 25 seconds, ensuring not to overheat it to preserve yeast activity.

Step 2: Dissolve Yeast

  • In lukewarm milk, dissolve the baker’s yeast and set it aside for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, white sugar, kosher salt, and vanilla sugar.

Step 4: Add Wet Ingredients

  • Add rapeseed oil to the dry ingredients. Gradually pour in the heated milk and yeast mixture. Mix well until combined.

Step 7: Prepare Mold

  • On a lightly floured work surface, butter the mold and place a baking sheet on top.

Step 8: Shape and Arrange Rolls

  • Degas the dough and divide it into normal-sized dough balls. Place them in the mold, slightly separated.

Step 9: Rest and Bake

  • Allow the rolls to rest for around 20 minutes. Brush the rolls with milk and bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven.

Enjoy your delicious Old-Fashioned Soft and Buttery Yeast Rolls.
