Old Time Oven Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1 large can of sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In an 8 x 8 baking dish, stir together Bisquick mix, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon until thoroughly mixed. Stir in melted butter.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, stir sugar and peaches until combined.
  4. Spoon the peach mixture over the cobbler crust in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour or until the crust is a golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream if desired.
