Ingredients:

  • 13 graham crackers
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups pecan halves, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a rimmed sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Lightly grease the foil with butter and arrange graham crackers on the baking sheet.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, brown sugar, pecans, and salt. Bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over graham crackers, spreading to the edges.
  5. Bake until bubbly, about 10 minutes.
  6. Cool completely, then break into pieces.
