  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, milk, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in drained corn until evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the greased baking dish and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. In a small bowl, combine crushed buttery crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping turns golden brown.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the casserole to set.
