Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package (6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, half the cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir together the stuffing mix, chicken broth, and melted butter until moistened.
  4. Spread the chicken-broccoli mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spoon the stuffing mixture over the top and spread it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top for a golden, gooey finish.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is lightly browned.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
