- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine sliced hot dogs, chili, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and onion (if using). Stir well.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing perforations.
- Spread hot dog and chili mixture evenly over the dough. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
