Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • red and green sprinkles, for decoration

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine sugar cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently after each addition.
  5. Mix in vanilla, sour cream, heavy cream, and almond extract until combined.
  6. Pour filling over the crust.
  7. Bake for 55–60 minutes, until center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off oven and cool cheesecake inside with door cracked open for 1 hour.
  9. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Decorate with red and green sprinkles before serving.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for the smoothest texture. Chill the cheesecake overnight for the best flavor and structure. Add sprinkles just before serving to keep colors vibrant.
