Ingredients

  • 1 small roll canned biscuits (6–8 biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1–2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 teaspoons milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Equipment

  • 6×9-inch baking pan or toaster oven pan
  • Small mixing bowl or resealable bag
  • Whisk or fork
  • measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife or kitchen scissors

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the butter in a 6×9-inch baking pan and allow it to melt while the oven heats.
  2. Cut the canned biscuits into quarters using a knife or kitchen scissors.
  3. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl or resealable bag. Toss biscuit pieces until evenly coated.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven and arrange the coated biscuit pieces evenly in the melted butter. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  5. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and drizzleable.
  6. Drizzle icing over the warm biscuit bites and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Adjust icing thickness by adding more milk for a drizzle or less for a thicker glaze. These biscuit bites are best served fresh for optimal softness.
