Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 lb ground beef
  • Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
  • brown sugar (to taste)
  • onion & herb seasoning (to taste)
  • minced onions (to taste)
  • 1 can (28 oz) baked beans
  • 0.5 cup chopped onions
  • 0.5 cup chopped green bell peppers

Method
 

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion & herb seasoning, and minced onions. Stir until the beef is fully cooked.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a large baking dish, combine the cooked beef, baked beans, chopped onions, and green bell peppers. Stir well.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the beans are bubbly and the top has slightly caramelized.
  5. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

  • This recipe is highly adaptable—feel free to experiment with spices and add-ins to match your taste.
  • For extra smoky flavor, substitute part of the baked beans with BBQ baked beans.
