- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then sear 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits, and reduce by half.
- Lower heat, stir in cream, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted and sauce thickens.
- Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat, and sprinkle with parsley.
- Plate over pasta, rice, or vegetables and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Best served immediately for the creamiest texture. Adjust garlic amount depending on preference. A dash of chili flakes or lemon zest takes it to the next level.
