Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 1 pack Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 pack brown gravy mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 can beef broth (use cream of mushroom can to measure)
  • egg noodles, cooked according to package directions

  • crockpot (slow cooker)
  • mixing spoon
  • measuring cups
  • pot (for noodles)
  • strainer

Method
 

  1. Add the stew meat, onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, and beef broth into the crockpot. Mix everything together well.
  2. Set the crockpot on low and cook for 8 hours until the meat is tender.
  3. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions when the beef is done.
  4. Serve the beef tips and gravy over the cooked noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, deglaze the pan used to brown beef with a splash of beef broth and add it to the crockpot.
  • Leftover gravy can be stored separately and reheated for sandwiches or mashed potatoes.
