Ingredients
  

  • 1 large bag Dorito Nacho Cheese Chips, crushed slightly
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 6 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 2 cups ranch dressing

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water. Simmer until seasoning is absorbed.
  3. Mix Italian dressing and ranch dressing into the seasoned beef, allowing it to blend well.
  4. Prepare the salad ingredients: shred lettuce, dice onion, and chop tomatoes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, and beef mixture.
  6. Gently fold in Doritos just before serving to keep them crunchy.
  7. Serve immediately or set ingredients out separately so guests can build their own salads.

  • For meal prep, store components separately and mix before eating.
  • You can lighten the recipe by using reduced-fat cheese and light ranch dressing.
