Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Equipment

  • baking dish
  • small mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • oven
  • Whisk or fork

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Combine melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the baking dish. Pour garlic butter mixture over each piece.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let rest several minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Marinating the chicken enhances flavor but is optional.
  • Adding vegetables to the dish creates a complete one-pan meal.
  • Do not overbake; chicken dries quickly when cooked too long.
  • For a richer finish, drizzle extra garlic butter over the chicken before serving.
