Ingredients

  • 1 box (18–20 oz) brownie mix
  • 2 jars (12 oz each) hot fudge sauce (divided)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup canola oil (or vegetable oil)
  • additional hot fudge sauce for topping (optional)

Equipment

  • 9x5-inch loaf pan
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk or mixing spoon
  • parchment paper (optional)
  • Wire cooling rack

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray or butter. For easier removal, line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, 1 jar of hot fudge sauce, eggs, and oil. Stir until smooth and fully incorporated.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  4. Allow loaf to cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. Warm the second jar of hot fudge sauce and drizzle over the cooled bread. Let set for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Slice into thick pieces and serve. Drizzle with extra fudge or pair with ice cream for an indulgent treat.

Notes

  • For an extra gooey texture, warm slices just before serving.
  • This bread is rich, so smaller slices can go a long way.
  • Perfect make-ahead dessert for holidays, birthdays, or chocolate cravings.
