Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Equipment

  • baking dish
  • mixing bowl
  • spoon or spatula
  • measuring cups and spoons
  • oven
  • meat thermometer

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease or line a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir the mixture until smooth and well blended.
  4. Arrange the chicken breasts evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spoon the creamy mixture over each chicken breast and spread evenly.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with dried parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For extra browning, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end of cooking. Adjust seasoning depending on the saltiness of the Parmesan cheese. This recipe works well with both thin and thick chicken breasts when cooked to the proper internal temperature. It’s also easy to double for meal prep or guests.
