  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sugar cookie pieces, chopped
  • red and green sprinkles, for decoration

  • Electric mixer or hand whisk
  • spatula
  • measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife

Method

  1. Mix sugar cookie crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into a greased 9x9 dish to form the crust. Chill for 15 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
  3. Whip the heavy cream with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Fold in the chopped sugar cookie pieces until evenly distributed.
  6. Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust.
  7. Top with red and green sprinkles.
  8. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight until firm. Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Dip your knife in hot water and wipe between slices for clean cuts. Customize with seasonal sprinkles or crushed candies. Best served chilled and can sit at room temperature up to 30 minutes.
