Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken breasts. Arrange them in the baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, and melted butter. Stir until fully mixed.
  6. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken and sauce.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. For a crispier topping, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
