Method
- Soften the cream cheese and drain the Rotel thoroughly.
- Combine sausage, cream cheese, Rotel, cheddar, and Bisquick in a large bowl. Mix by hand until fully combined.
- Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 1 inch apart.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve with dipping sauces.
Notes
- For best texture, do not skip draining Rotel.
- For extra browning, broil sausage balls for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
- This recipe freezes exceptionally well for quick future appetizers.
