Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 jar Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 16 ounces spaghetti noodles

Instructions:

  1. Set the Air Pot to Saute function.
  2. When it’s ready, add the olive oil and diced yellow onion. Cook until the onions slightly soften.
  3. Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and freshly minced garlic. Cook the meat until it’s thoroughly done.
  4. Remove the cooked meat. Add water to the pot and ensure to scrape the bottom well to avoid a Burn warning from the Air Pot.
  5. Break the spaghetti noodles in half and place them in a criss-cross pattern in the pot.
  6. Pour the Spaghetti Sauce over the arranged noodles.
  7. If using, add the can of diced tomatoes on top of the spaghetti sauce.
  8. Pour water along the sides and over the top of the tomatoes. Gently press down to ensure the spaghetti is covered in water.
  9. Cover the pot with the lid. Set the valve to sealing, then press the Pressure Cook function.
  10. Set the cooking time for 5 minutes.
  11. Once the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to do a natural release for 5 minutes.
  12. Perform a quick release until the pressure valve drops.
  13. Open the lid and stir the spaghetti, sauce, tomatoes, and meat together thoroughly.
  14. Serve the delicious homemade spaghetti with a side of dinner salad and garlic cheese toast if desired. Enjoy your meal!
