Ingredients:
- 16 oz (450g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved, and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Directions:
- Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and prepare a large baking sheet. You can line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup if desired.
- Preparing the Brussels Sprouts:
- Pat the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts dry with paper towels and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add olive oil (or melted butter), Italian seasoning, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, kosher salt, and freshly cracked black pepper to the Brussels sprouts in the bowl. Gently toss to ensure the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Roasting:
- Spread the prepared Brussels sprouts evenly onto the baking sheet, arranging them in a single layer.
- Baking:
- Place the baking sheet with the Brussels sprouts on the center rack of the preheated oven. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes or until the sprouts turn golden brown, adjusting the time as needed based on your oven’s heat. They should be crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
- Serving:
- Transfer the roasted Parmesan Brussels sprouts to a large serving bowl.
- Optionally, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the roasted Brussels sprouts before serving, for added flavor and freshness.
Enjoy these delightful roasted Parmesan Brussels sprouts as a flavorful and nutritious side dish!
