- 1½ lbs sausage (kielbasa or smoked sausage), sliced ¼” thick
- 2 lbs baby creamer potatoes, washed and sliced in half
- 2 (15 oz) cans green beans, drained
- ⅛ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama®️ seasoning (or your preferred Cajun seasoning)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup water
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Wash the baby creamer potatoes, cut them in half, and place them in a sealable gallon-sized baggie.
- Add vegetable oil, Slap Ya Mama®️ seasoning (or Cajun seasoning), garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the baggie. Shake the bag to coat the potatoes evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- In a large frying pan, add the sausage and water. Cook over medium-high heat until the sausages have browned, and most of the water has evaporated. Remove the sausage from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same frying pan, melt the butter, then add chopped onions and minced garlic. Cook until the onions become translucent. Let the onion mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Once the onion mixture has cooled slightly, add it to the baggie with the seasoned potatoes and sausage. Shake the bag to mix all the ingredients evenly.
- Add the drained green beans to the baggie, shake again to mix everything, and then empty the contents into the prepared baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
- Carefully remove the casserole from the oven, and it’s ready to enjoy!
