Ingredients:
- 2 lbs frozen hash browns
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups crushed cornflakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, toss crushed cornflakes with a bit of melted butter.
- Sprinkle the buttered cornflakes over the top of the potato mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are cooked through.
- Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
